Middle School Girls Basketball Faces Off Against First Baptist

The middle school girls basketball team loses their first game to First Baptist.

On Thursday, November 14, the McKinney Christian Middle School Lady Mustangs basketball team faced off against First Baptist Academy. The game was filled with energy and effort. The score was 15-30 with FBA winning. Eighth grader Kate Thomas scored 11 points. Eighth grader Realin Robinson said, “I think we got to learn a lot from our first game of playing with each other. We had some good aggressive plays and drives to the basket this game. Losing gives us more to learn from.

The Middle School Lady Mustangs’ next game will be Friday, November 15, against Dallas Christian.

This is Abby's 2nd year at MCA. She is a freshman. Outside of school Abby enjoys playing volleyball, going to church, and hanging out with her friends. She has been playing club volleyball for 4 years and is on the varsity volleyball team at MCA. Abby's favorite place to visit is the beach with all her family. This is Abby's first year in Newspaper and she's excited to contribute. Abby's favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:7. "Cast your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
