On Friday November 22, 2024, the McKinney Christian Academy seniors participated in the Econ Faire at the MCA Lower School deck and circle. This event takes place every year the Friday before Thanksgiving break. The seniors work hard from the beginning of the school year to create their small businesses in preparation for selling their goods and services on this day. Many of the seniors decided to sell food, drinks, clothing or accessories. Also, some seniors decided to have sport or carnival games that the customers could pay to play. Everyone from the Lower School, Middle School, Upper School, MCA staff and family members were able to walk around and visit the senior’s businesses. When asked about the Econ Faire senior Mia Gunn said, “Ellie and I sold trucker hats and hot cocoa at Econ faire this year. It was super fun, and it taught me so much about starting a company.”
The Econ Faire is an annual event that seniors and students look forward to each November.
