On Tuesday, December 2, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity men’s soccer faced Prince Of Peace at home. They had a rough game with some of their players not in town and with little breaks. Sophomore Harry Thompson came in as a guest player for the Mustangs and scored their only goal. When asked how he felt once he scored, he said, “The moment the ball hit the back of the net, it felt like time stood still. Scoring for my team in this crucial game is a feeling I’ll never forget.” The game ended with a score of 9-1, but even with the team losing, their one goal helped keep the spirits high.
