Middle School Wrestles at FBA

The MCA Middle School Wrestling takes their talents to FBA and has some Podium Finishers

On Saturday, December 7, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School wrestling team traveled to First Baptist Academy to wrestle in the Saints Middle School tournament. Everyone on the team won a medal in this meet. Sixth graders James Dunne and Cam Emley, seventh graders Ethan Khan and Aiden Schweizer were the third-place finishers. Seventh grader Connor Vinciguerra was the only second-place finisher.

Kody Zbranek has been at MCA since kindergarten and is currently a junior. This is his third year newspaper, and he looks forward to all of the events MCA offers. Zbranek's favorite sport is baseball. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends and watching baseball and football. His favorite memory is playing in the state championship for the baseball team in his freshman year. Zbranek is excited to support MCA by contributing to The Mane Edition as the Sports Editor. His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
