Varsity Men’s Soccer Wins a Close Game

The Varsity Men’s Soccer Team Defeats LakeHill 4-3

The varsity men’s soccer team secured a thrilling 4-3 victory in a hard-fought match, highlighted by standout performances from juniors Ben Thomas, Kody Zbranek and Hudson Clayton. The Mustangs hopped out to an early lead with two quick goals by Clayton and Zbranek. Lakehill bounced back with a goal. However, Clayton punched in another goal, making it 3-1. However, the Warriors didn’t back down and scored two quick goals. With 4 minutes to go, sophomore Noah Faulkner assisted Thomas from a corner kick, sealing the win for the Mustangs.

The Mustang’s next game is at home versus TK Bishop Gorman on Thursday, January 16.

Sadie Zbranek is currently a Junior and has been at MCA for 11 years. This is her Second year in Newspaper and is very excited to contribute to the MCA Mane Edition. Zbranek will be playing school soccer in the winter. She also loves to spend time with people that make her happy, her family and friends. She loves surrounding herself with the amazing MCA community. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through christ Jesus who gives me strength."
