On Tuesday, January 14, the McKinney Christian Academy boys Middle School basketball team played against Prestonwood Plano. The boys unfortunately lost against Prestonwood 28-37. In the first half of the game, the Mustangs were ahead by 17 points. The boys did a great job out running Prestonwood which was a reason for the successful first half. In the second half of the game, Prestonwood had a comeback and eventually ended up passing the Mustangs in points and won the game. Eighth grader Gabe Castillo spoke about the game. He said, “We had a great first set but unfortunately Prestonwood caught up in the second half. Overall we worked very hard.”
Their next game is on Saturday, January 18.
