MCA Girls’ Basketball Takes a Win Over Tyler All Saints

McKinney Christian Academy’s Girls’ Basketball Fights Hard and Wins Against Tyler All Saints.

On Thursday, February 6, the Lady Mustangs played the Tyler All Saints Trojans and took victory over them.  The score was 42 to 27. They featured senior, Hannah Massingale, for senior night. The top scorer was Freshman, Elizabeth Thompson, with 15 points. When Thompson was asked how the game went she said, “I am really proud of how hard our team worked, we did a lot better than the first time we played them.”

Their next game is Monday, February 10, at 3:30 against Bishop Gorman at home.

Lyric is currently attending her first year at MCA as a freshman. She enjoys hanging out with her friends in her freetime and riding horses competitively. Lyric is excited to contribute to this years Mane Edition newspaper. Her favorite bible verse is Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Hannah Doshier has been attending MCA since she was in third grade, and is now a junior. She enjoys playing sports at MCA such as soccer and xc. Doshier spends most of her time outside of school by playing club soccer, and spending time with her close family and friends. Teach theatre is also one of Doshier’s favorite things to occupy her during the school year. This year is her second year in newspaper and she is so excited to be able to inform people about MCA through The Mane Edition. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10   "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
