On Monday, February 10, the McKinney Christian Academy Lady Mustangs basketball team was defeated by Bishop Gorman. Although they put up a good fight, they lost 30-59. The leading scorer was freshman, Elizabeth Thompson, with 18 points followed by freshman, Isabella Melton, with 5 points. When junior, Dylan Neuner, was interviewed about the game, she said, “Although we lost, the thing that matters most was that each of us gave 110% effort and we stayed untied as a team and family.”
The girls will play again in a tiebreaker game against Tyler All-Saints tonight at Dallas Christian.
