Men’s Varsity Basketball Advances To The State Semifinals

Mustang Basketball wins the regional round of the playoffs.

On Saturday, February 22 the McKinney Christian Academy Mustang boys’ basketball team played against Prince of Peace. The Mustangs came into this regional playoff game with a record of 37-1. The Mustangs started the game with the lead and carried this into half time. Coach Nathan Hamilton encouraged the team to stay focused and push to the end of the game. He also emphasized playing good defense and blocking out their big center. The Mustangs secured a win of 61-46.

The Mustangs record improved to 38-1, and they will now play in the state semifinals on Friday, February 28 against Lubbock Christian.

Josh Anderson has been attending MCA for 5 years now and is a sophomore. Josh is very excited for this upcoming year of high school and what is to come.
