On Monday, March 31, the McKinney Christian Varsity Baseball team faces Shelton. The Mustangs finished the games with the score of 11-1. Senior Marc Jensen started on the mound and pitched six innings only giving up two hits and one run. Senior Jackson Johnson, led offensively with 3 hits. Sophomore Josh Anderson was the second top scorer with two hits. The Mustangs scored in five of the six innings. Senior Marc Jensen spoke on the game. He said, “It was fun beating Shelton. We had great teamwork and we communicated very well.” Head Coach Brady James also spoke on the game. He said,”I was proud of our guys for coming out and sticking with the game plan even when we started slow.”
The Mustangs next game is on Tuesday April 1 against Westlake at MCA.
