Golf Places In District

The McKinney Christian Golf Teams Place Third and Second in Tournament.

On Monday, April 14, the McKinney Christian varsity golf team took on districts at Luna Vista Golf Course, where both the boys’ and girls’ teams represented their school well. The boys team secured a 3rd place finish, while the girls team claimed 2nd place overall. Sophomore Charlee Barnes placed individually, earning ninth place in the tournament. With these results, both teams have earned a spot at the Regional Tournament.

They will compete on Tuesday, April 22, in Fort Worth.

This is Abby’s 2nd year at MCA. She is a freshman. Outside of school Abby enjoys playing volleyball, going to church, and hanging out with her friends. She has been playing club volleyball for 4 years and is on the varsity volleyball team at MCA. Abby’s favorite place to visit is the beach with all her family. This is Abby’s first year in Newspaper and she’s excited to contribute. Abby’s favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:7. “Cast your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
