On Wednesday, April 15, the middle school choir students performed at Pinstack for their trip. Seventh and eighth grade choir members participated in the annual “Pride of Texas” Choral Festival at Pinstack Bowl. The combined choirs sang “Life is a Highway” and “Breaking Free” for a panel of judges. After they performed, students got to enjoy the attractions at the event. The choir received a rating of “Superior” which is the highest rating a choir can receive. Seventh grader Court Walsh shares his thoughts on the experience, saying, “It was such a great opportunity to be able to perform. We did well on our singing. Being able to hang out with my friends after was my favorite part.”
