On Wednesday, April 23, the varsity softball team went against Lake Country Christian. This was their first playoff game since they had a bye for the first round. The final score of the game was 19-5. The Lady Mustangs, unfortunately, got run-ruled in the fourth inning. Freshman Petra Westra shares her thoughts on the game, “Even though the season didn’t turn out like we wanted, it was still fun. The team bonding, laughter, and memories were worth it. We made McKinney Christian Academy history! Making the playoffs is one of my biggest accomplishments this year. I can feel it from the top of my head to the tip of my toes that we will be state champs next season. I will be forever thankful for the friends and memories I made this season.”
