On Wednesday, May 14, the Upper and Middle school students gather in the SLC for the annual Senior Chapel. Seniors Gavin Fletcher, Davie Kitzmiller, Cal Emley and Jaden Brock led worship. There was a video showing where the seniors are going to college and what they will be majoring in. Senior Brooklyn Claudio said, ” It was so cool to see the seniors worship! I also enjoyed seeing where everyone was going to school.” Senior Mia Gunn talked about chapel, saying, “It was bittersweet since it was our last chapel, but it was great to celebrate all the seniors and their achievements.” Senior John Clark had his basketball jersey retired. Senior Kadence Ackmann made school history by retiring her soccer and volleyball jerseys. The seniors got offered $7,180,916 in scholarship money, but took $2,325,560.

This is Abby’s 2nd year at MCA. She is a freshman. Outside of school Abby enjoys playing volleyball, going to church, and hanging out with her friends. She has been playing club volleyball for 4 years and is on the varsity volleyball team at MCA. Abby’s favorite place to visit is the beach with all her family. This is Abby’s first year in Newspaper and she’s excited to contribute.
Abby’s favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:7.
“Cast your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

Sadie Zbranek is currently a Junior and has been at MCA for 11 years. This is her Second year in Newspaper and is very excited to contribute to the MCA Mane Edition. Zbranek will be playing school soccer in the winter. She also loves to spend time with people that make her happy, her family and friends. She loves surrounding herself with the amazing MCA community. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through christ Jesus who gives me strength.”
