On Friday, September 19, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity football team faced off against Bishop Reicher. The McKinney Christian Mustangs cruised to an impressive 56-6 victory over Bishop Reicher on Friday night, showing an unstoppable offense and an amazing defense. Quarterback Cody Dow had a standout performance, throwing for 223 yards and five touchdowns, spreading the ball effectively across his receivers. Wide receiver Quentin Phillips played a key role, racking up 80 yards and three touchdowns, while Cooper Hall added 111 yards and two touchdowns to the Mustangs’ scoring total. On defense, McKinney Christian shut down Bishop Reicher’s offense, limiting them to just 6 points and forcing multiple turnovers. Bishop Reicher’s lone score came late in the fourth quarter, but by that point, the Mustangs had already secured the win. With this victory, McKinney Christian improves to 3-1 on the season, as they prepare for their next matchup against Keene.
