On Thursday, October 9, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs faced a tough matchup this week and fell to Shelton Christian by a final score of 41-21. The Middle School team showed early promise, keeping the game close in the first half, but it continued to stop Shelton after halftime. At halftime, seventh grader, Jack Rehombus, put up an impressive performance, finishing the game with over 50 receiving yards. Despite the close contest early on, Shelton tried to come out firing in the second half. Their offense didn’t have an effect on the Mustangs’ defense in the final two quarters. The Mustangs look to continue the winning streak next week. When seventh grader, Travis Horn, talked about the game, he said this, “It went really well, we had great tackling and our offense drove down the field really well and efficiently.
