Wednesday, October 22, 2025, was the 50th day of the 2025-2026 school year. The Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Graders are all counting each day of school to learn how to count by fives and tens. Towards the end of the day, the three grades will go to a Coke Float to mock how people lived in the 1950s. All the kids are dressed in 50s-inspired outfits, including leather jackets and puppy skirts. Kindergarteners, Camden Davis, Briston Q, Easton Furman, Rowan Wyly, and Poppy Sanders said, “We’re dressed like Greasers from the movie, The Outsiders. We’re wearing leather jackets and bright red sunglasses to look like we’re from the 1950s!”
