The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs kicked off their season with an impressive showing in their opening scrimmage against Grace Prep. The two teams battled through three competitive quarters, with MCA winning the first and third. The Mustangs came out strong setting the tone early with fast-paced offense and tight defense. Juniors Diego Landin and Leo Jimenez led the way in scoring, helping MCA take control in key moments. Grace Prep fought back in the second quarter, but the Mustangs regrouped and finished the scrimmage with a strong third-quarter performance. The MCA basketball team is coming off a season where they fell in the semi final state championship. They look to improve from last year and go all the way.
