On Tuesday, December 2, the Upper School and Middle School had their annual Christmas chapel. Warren Truesdale, director of spiritual formation, began chapel with an introduction and scripture reading, in which the entire assembly participated. Then the worship band sang their first song, “Noel,” led by senior, Dylan Neuner. After “Noel,” sophomore, Judah Krause, led the worship band in “Run Run Rudolph,” closing the chapel. When asked how her experience singing was, Neuner said, “We sang two very different songs, but it’s cool to see how both can celebrate the Christmas season. Music really is the great unifier!”
The Christmas chapel is a great reminder of the focus and joy of this season, bringing the school together and reminding everyone of Christ. The Mustangs have three more weeks until Christmas break and they are already ready to celebrate God’s gift of Jesus this Christmas.
