On Thursday, December 4, the Mustangs’ middle school basketball team plays off against Mark School of Texas. The D1 Mustangs fought hard but ultimately fell 46–25 to Mark School of Texas. Meanwhile, the D2 team faced similar struggles, suffering a 55–17 defeat as Mark School controlled the pace from start to finish. As both teams face losses, the Mustangs look to do better in their upcoming games. Eighth grader, Malachi Blake, said this about the game, “We didn’t get the results we wanted, but we’re staying focused and coming back stronger next game,”. The Mustangs will play their next game on Friday, December 5.
