Middle School Girls Soccer Faces Off Against HSAA Angels

The middle school girls soccer team was defeated by the HSAA Angels

On Tuesday, January 20, the middle school girls’ soccer team played against HSAA. The Lady Mustangs lost with a score of 0-3. Eighth grader, Ariel Key, shared her thoughts on the game, saying, “We did a good job defending and stealing the ball from the other team. Our energy was good, and we played better than last game. We can still improve on getting the ball to the other side of the field, but overall, we did well.”

Presley Dreffs has been at MCA since 4th grade and is currently a Sophomore. This is her second year in newspaper, and she is excited for all the opportunities this year will bring. Presley is a part of the MCA volleyball program, but also enjoys playing it outside of school. She is also a part of the MCA softball team and is playing soccer this year. In her free time, Presley enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. Her favorite memory is when the softball coach surprised the softball team with Nerf guns and water balloons. Presley’s favorite verse is Philippians 4:6. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
