On Thursday, January 15, the middle school girls’ soccer team played Dallas Covenant. The Lady Mustangs ended the game with a loss, scoring 0-8. Eighth grader, Caroline Agness, when asked about the game, shared her thoughts, saying, “When we played, we gave our full effort. We stayed aggressive with the ball, made smart decisions, and communicated well on defense. While there’s still room for improvement on the defensive end, our overall performance was strong, and we showed good teamwork and focus throughout the game.”
The girls’ next game is Tuesday, January 20, against HSAA.
On Thursday, January 15, the middle school boys’ team faced off against Dallas Covenant. The match ended with a score of 0-8. Eighth grader, Travis Horn, shared his thoughts on the game, saying, “Our offense was aggressive and played really well, which helped us create good opportunities. We know our defense can still improve, but overall it was a strong performance, and we worked hard as a team.”
The boys’ next game is on Thursday, January 22, against John’s Episcopal.
