On Saturday, January 31, 2026, the McKinney Christian Middle School Mustangs went and wrestled in the Texas Middle School Prep State Championship. Eighth grader, Aidan Schweizer, was one of the wrestlers who faced off for the Mustangs. Schweizer performed in three matches. He wrestles at 98 pounds and won one of the three matches, with the other two ending with him losing. Eighth graderm, Mathew Foss, also performed in three games. Foss wrestled at 106. But they didnt go in his favor. Foss ended up losing all three of the matches he played in. Schweizer said this about the matches: “It was really fun to go out and perform. I wish the outcome could have been better.”
