On Tuesday, February 11, the MCA varsity girls basketball team played the Bishop Gorman Knights. The Lady Mustangs lost with a score of 28-51. Sophomore, Elizabeth Thompson, led the team with 15 points, ten blocks, and seven steals. Thompson shares her thoughts on the game, saying, “Even though this game ended our season, I’m proud of how we played. We worked hard all year, stayed together, and gave everything we had on the court. The score didn’t go our way, but the effort, growth, and teamwork we showed are what really matter, and that’s something we’ll carry with us.”
