On Tuesday, February 10, the McKinney Christian boys varsity and JV basketball teams took on Bishop Gorman. It was an away game hosted at Bishop Gorman. Both the varsity and JV teams ended up winning their games. The varsity boys ended the game with a score of 79–49. The JV score was 65–31. Junior, Jude Bleecker, had a total of 8 points for the JV. Junior, Evan Woodard, had this to say about the game, “We played really well and put all our effort into being able to take the win. We had great defense and made sure to keep pressure on them as much as we could.” The JV season ended with a final victory, securing them as district champions. The varsity boys basketball team plays next on February 17 at McKinney Christian Academy.
