On Tuesday, February 17, the Mustangs faced off against Grace Community School in Tyler. This game was the final district game of the season, determining who was sent to the playoffs. The Lady Mustangs pulled out a strong win, defeating their opponents 7-0 and advancing to the playoffs as district champions. They have kept up their undefeated record all season and are heading into the playoffs looking stronger than ever. When asked about their performance as a team, Freshman, Sarah Webb, said, “We really played so incredibly well. I’m so proud of this team and all the hard work we’ve been putting in over the season. To see it all pay off has been such a blessing, and I’m so grateful for this team, the athletes, and our amazing coaches.”
