On Thursday, February 26, the Mckinney Christian Academy varsity track team competed in their second meet of the spring season. The day was packed with throwing, races, relays, and lasted from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. Freshman, Cole Huffman, got first place in the JV 110m hurdles with a time of 17.70 seconds and Freshman, Avery Clay, got third place in JV shot put with a throw of 6.86 meters. When asked about how he did at the meet, freshman, Camden Holley, said, “My shins were injured but I feel like I ran hard and the work is starting to pay off.”
