On Tuesday, the Lady Mustangs created MCA history and became the first girls soccer team to go undefeated in district. Their final game against Westwood ended with a 3-1 win. The goals were scored by Anna Grace DiLeo, Kate Witte, and Emma Thompson. Thompson stated, “This has been a great season for us so far. I’m really excited that we went undefeated and I can’t wait to take on playoffs!” Now that the team has finished up district play they will advance on to playoffs. Their first game will be played against Pantego on February 28th at 6:30 at Parish Episcopal. Admission is free so come out and support your Mustangs!
