Last week, the Varsity Mustang track team travelled all the way to Brook Hill to compete in a track meet. The long drive was worth it, though, when the team placed third overall. At the meet, senior, Mikayla Kuehne finished 1st in discus and 2nd in shot put. Senior, Madi Hydock placed 1st in the mile and 2nd in the two mile. Some of the other highlights of the meet included Senior, Katie Dossey finishing 2nd in the 200, freshman, Riley Pyle finishing 1st in the mile and two mile, and the girls 4X4 team placing 1st which included sophomores Kate Witte, Elyse Mead, Dossey and freshman Waverly Frisbie. This meet was another learning opportunity for the team, and now, they are working hard to prepare for district on April 12th.
