On Thursday night the long-distance runners and field event competitors travelled to Waco to compete at TAPPS State. Friday, Mikayla Kuehne competed in shot put and discus. Madi Hydock, Juliana Roller, and Brooke Fillebrown all ran that evening in the two mile. The rest of the team travelled down to watch their team run and cheer them on. On Saturday, the team arrived at the track early to warm up and prepare for the day ahead of them. Despite the hot weather, the Mustangs competed well. They didn’t end up placing overall but are excitingly anticipating their next season.
