With the 2019 track season coming up soon, Upper School track coach,  Coach Jerrod Butler had some things to say about this year’s team, “I am excited about the numbers that we have coming out for Track this year. It is a larger group than we’ve had for a couple of years, and I think that with the number of athletes we have this year, it will allow for us to be very competitive in a number of events.” After school practice officially starts Tuesday, February, 25th, but some students have been preparing all winter for the upcoming season. The first meet is Saturday, March 23 at St. Marks. While certain athletes in years past have competed well and won 1st in their category, the Mustangs track team hope to bring home the first State Championship for the track and field as a team at the end of the season.
