On Wednesday, March 21, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity golf teams traveled to the Old Brickyard Golf Club to play their first tournament of the season. The boys team finished the day in fourth place with the best scores from Sophomores Shane Robison who shot an 80 and Jude Westra who shot an 81. Additionally, juniors Nicholas Catullo and Austin George shot an 87. When asked about the golf tournament Westra said, “I think the tournament went very well. The conditions were tough, although it wasn’t the results we wanted it was a good start to the season, I’m looking forward to seeing how we improve from here.” The Mustangs next tournament will be held at Eagles Bluff Country Club on Monday, April 3.
