On Tuesday April 25th, the McKinney Christian Academy girls team attended this years golf TAPPS regionals tournament at Squaw Creek Golf Course. MCA had two athletes qualify and compete at the TAPPS Regionals golf tournament. Senior captain Lily Jornod and junior Milania Vance were the two representatives who qualified to attend the regional golf tournament. Both Jornod and Vance finished in the top 20 of the girls field. Assistant golf coach Mackenzie Cowan said this about the girls, “Both girls finished in the top 20. It rained the whole day but that didn’t stop them from having fun. It was a great way to end Lily’s last golf season.”
