On Saturday, February 3, the McKinney Christian Mustangs travelled to Prince of Peace Christian School to face off for a big district match up. Coming into the game, the Mustangs only district loss was against Prince of Peace. Before the game John Clark said, “This is the biggest game of the year, it could really impact our season if we win or lose this game, and it’s really important we are prepared for war.” The Mustangs jumped out in front early leading the way in the first and second quarter, going up 7 into halftime. Coming out of the half the Mustangs couldn’t maintain the lead and ended up losing the lead going in the fourth. The Mustangs would eventually fall to Prince of Peace losing 65-57.

The Mustangs next district game will be on Tuesday, February 6th, at home for senior night versus Tyler All Saints.
