Today’s Senior Spotlight is Tucker Scott and Emily Barnhill.

Scott has been attending McKinney Christian Academy since the 4th grade. While at MCA, Scott has participated in Football, Wrestling, Track, Student Government, Advocates, Robotics and Yearbook. Outside of school, he is involved with his youth group. Scott will be attending Texas A&M University and is undecided on his major. Scott’s favorite memory at MCA is any retreat that he went on. A fun fact about Scott is that he has only ever broken one bone. His favorite Bible verse is Psalms 19:14.

Barnhill has been at MCA since her junior year. While at MCA, she has played basketball. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, playing basketball, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Barnhill will play basketball at Hastings College and study kinesiology. Her favorite memory at MCA is homecoming week and hanging out with my best friends. A fun fact about Barnhill is that she is an optimist. Her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9

Nate Krusing has attended MCA since kindergarten and is currently in the 11th grade. This is his third year in Newspaper, and he is the Campus Editor for The Mane Edition. He enjoys time with his friends and family and loves playing sports. His favorite sports are baseball and football. He also enjoys watching basketball. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the Middle School baseball championship. He is looking forward to being a newspaper writer and playing a role in contributing to the Mane Edition. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
