On Thursday February 15, the McKinney Christian Academy fifth graders went on a field trip to the Dallas Creation Museum. On the field trip, they got to do many fun activities while learning about God. The students got to design dinosaurs and display them on a big whiteboard. They also got to watch talking paintings that taught them about creation. After that, they got to go into a big dome, recline and watch a video on the solar system. To wrap up the trip, they got to have lunch outside. When asked about the field trip, fifth grader Anna Wall said “I really liked the talking paintings and how we got to recline in our chairs to watch a video on the planets. They even talked about Pluto.”

Hi, I'm Aubrey Hagstrom! I am in 9th grade this year, and I have been at MCA since third grade. After school, I enjoy playing soccer and hanging out with my friends and my little brother. This is my first year in the newspaper staff, and my favorite MCA memory was my 8th grade Spring Semi-Formal. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 37:23-24
"The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand."
