On Saturday, August 31, the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School cross country team ran at The Battle of the Bluff. Sixth grader Addison Lancaster shared her thoughts about the race saying, “Everyone on the Cross Country team competed well and everyone was very supportive on and off of the sidelines. I am excited for this season and I’m excited to grow closer to my teammates.” Sixth grade Runner Rebecca Dominguez, seventh grade runners Jasmine Nakaoka and seventh Joshua Moore and eighth grade runner Sebastian Bone all placed top 20. Overall, the boys finished 2nd and our middle school girls finished 3rd. Coach Rabbia spoke about the meet this weekend saying, “The boys and girls teams ran really well, and it was a great meet, it was fun to see the improvement from the runners from their first meet to this one.”
