On Thursday, September 19, The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs’ D1 team played the Providence Patriots. The Mustangs started off the match with a big win in the first set with the score of 25-11. In the second set, they won again with a score of 25-7. Seventh grader Stella Bennett shared her thoughts saying, ” Our hitting was very good throughout the game. Also our passing was strong, and we were able to get every ball up.” The D2 team also played on Thursday, September 19. They started off the first set winning 25-19. Then in the second set, they unfortunately lost 15-25. In the third set they fought hard to close out the game with a win with the score being 15-10. Seventh grader Molly Kay shared her thoughts saying, “The game was a lot of fun, and we did really good.”
Their next game is on Monday, September 23, against Levine.
