On Monday, September 23, the McKinney Christian Academy D2 Lady Mustangs played Levine Christian. In the first set, the Mustangs unfortunately fell short with the score being 9-25. Even though the first set was slow, the Mustangs started off strong in the second set and they started to fight back against Levine Christian. However, the Mustangs could not come out on top with the score being 19-25. Seventh grader, Alayna Behn led the backrow on defense along with sixth grader Ariel Kergosien being a very consistent server. Coach Truesdale shared her thoughts on the game by saying, “Our middles had great transitions and had lots of good opportunities to score.”
Their next game is on Thursday, September 26.
