On Friday, September 20, the McKinney Christian Academy volleyball teams beat Whitewright High School. The junior varsity quickly won in two sets. When freshman Isabella Melton was asked about the game, she said, “It was a pretty easy win and we worked hard as a team to come out with the victory.” The varsity team won in three sets. The first set was 25-17, the second set was 25-11 and the third set was 25-18. Freshman Brittany Bartoo led in kills with a total of eight and senior Mia Gunn led in dig’s with 15. Bartoo shared her thoughts about the game saying, “Our team had so much energy and we did so well. The game was so much fun.”
Their next game will be on Tuesday, September 24.
