Middle School Mustangs XC Races at SAGU

Middle School Cross Country Runs their Best at Southwestern Assemblies of God University

On Saturday, October 5, the McKinney Christian Middle School cross country team ran at the Southwestern Assemblies of God University meet. There were 15 different personal records and season records at the race by the Middle School Mustangs. There were 12 personal records set, and there were three season records set. The two winners of the Ric Flair Award were runners Anna Wall and Cole Huffman who also set personal records. Mason McAnally talked about the race saying, “It was a good race and I set a personal record. It was kinda sad that they started the race earlier so some people missed the race, but it was fun.”

Lincoln Pogue has been at MCA since Pre K and is currently a sophomore. This is his first year taking newspaper, and he is looking forward to writing about all of the fun things that MCA offers. Lincoln plays football and baseball. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family. His favorite memory is his freshman football season playing on the varsity level.
