On Tuesday, March 4, the MCA varsity girls’ soccer team played Colleyville Covenant. The girls fought hard and won 2-0, qualifying them to play in the state championship. During the first half the score was 1-0. Junior Tatum Barnard scored off of junior, Hannah Doshier’s assist. The final score was 2-0 after senior Havilah Mahadi scored the final goal. Doshier was asked about her thoughts after the win. “I am very excited to go to the state championship. We have worked so hard, and I’m overjoyed to get the opportunity to play in state.”
The state championship will take place on Wednesday March 5.
