On Monday, April 7, the McKinney Christian Softball team played against Newman International. The final score of the game was 13-12. The Lady Mustangs made lots of contact and hits while batting. Freshman Presley Dreffs hit two triples and one in the park home run. Freshman Harper Johnson started and ended the game on the mound pitching to sophomore Maggie Emley. Freshman Elizabeth Thompson talked about the game and said, “Although our team wasn’t impeccable, we were gelled together and made lots of good plays. Our performance will not go unnoticed as we continue this season facing other opponents. We were able to make lots of stunning catches from the field and batted to excellence.”
Their next game is Tuesday April 8 against Wylie Prep at home.
