Today’s Senior Spotlight is Bri Northam and Jude Westra:
Northam has attended McKinney Christian Academy since sophomore year. While at MCA, she has been involved in varsity cheer, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, and newspaper. Outside of school, she works at an apartment complex, volunteers at church, and enjoys hanging out with her friends. After graduation, she plans to attend University of Oklahoma and study nursing. Her favorite MCA memory is going to New Mexico her sophomore year and hiking snowing hills with the group. A fun fact about Northam is that she lived in Japan for three years. Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:27.
Westra has attended MCA since the sixth grade. While at MCA, he has been involved in Robotics, Yearbook, Football, Basketball, Golf, band, NHS, Student ambassador, and Chick-fil-A leader academy. Outside of school, he participates in Mckinney Youth Leadership program, volunteers for youth at church, and is a caddie at PGA Frisco. After graduation, he plans to attend Texas Christian University to study finance with a real estate concentration. His favorite MCA memory is the San Antonio mission trip. A fun fact about Westra is that he was born at home. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28.
