On Thursday, September 4, the McKinney Christian Lady Mustangs volleyball team faced off against Wylie Prep on the road. The Lady Mustangs had a slow start, dropping the first set 17–25. However, they quickly regrouped and responded with a 25–22 win in the second set. From there, the Mustangs took control of the match, winning the next two sets 25–22 and 25–19 to secure the 3–1 victory over Wylie Prep. Senior Sadie Blake led the team in kills with 15 and junior Tristyn Vineyard led the team with 15 digs. Sophomore Brittany Bartoo was asked about the game and she said, “We had good communication, we worked hard and we came back with a win.”
The Lady Mustangs will be back in action on Thursday, September 11, against Legacy Christian.
