Today’s Senior Spotlight is Liam Corley and Morrissey Smith.
Corley has been at McKinney Christian Academy since kindergarten. While at MCA, Corley has played varsity soccer and has been apart of the yearbook staff. Outside of school, he plays club soccer for FC Dallas. After graduation, Corley plans to attend Oklahoma State University and will major in either Finance or Marketing. His favorite memory at MCA is playing games on retreat his senior year. A fun fact about Corley is that he does not know how to ride a bike. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13.
Smith has been at MCA since the sixth grade. During her time at MCA, she has been involved with the Choir and Theatre programs, Yearbook, soccer, softball, volleyball, track and National Honors Society (NHS). Outside of school she works, plays the guitar and piano, attends church and is involved with the National Charity League (NCL). After graduation, Smith hopes to attend Baylor University and major in Media and Film Studies. Her favorite memory at MCA is her sophomore year theatre spring play, Beauty and the Beast. “I had so much fun going to Rose’s to get my costume with the entire group, night rehearsals and IHOP afterwards.” She added. A fun fact about Smith is that her favorite animal is a pig after watching Moana in sixth grade. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 28:7
