Mustangs Football gets their First Win of the Season

The MCA Mustangs Varsity Football Team Takes Down Founders Classical Academy to get their First Win of the Season.

On Friday, September 20, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity football team faced off against the Founders Classical Academy Eagles. The Mustangs ended up winning the game with a score of 49-26. Sophomore Harrison Thompson stood out with having six catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore Luke Dreffs led the team with six tackles. Dreffs also kicked six extra points.

Their next game is on Friday, September 27, against HSAA.

Joey Gunn has been at MCA since 5th grade and is currently a sophomore. This is his first year in Newspaper. He looks forward to writing about the Middle School events MCA is having. His favorite memory at MCA is winning the homecoming game his freshman year. He is a football player for the Mustangs and he loves going to Top Golf.
