On Monday, December 2, the McKinney Christian Academy boys basketball team went up against Prestonwood Christian Academy. The Mustangs started off strong and played well, and it was a close game for a while. At halftime, the score was 34 to 15, with Prestonwood in the lead, but the Mustangs were not far behind. The coach preached to the team to stop turning the ball over and play smarter defense and offense. The Mustangs in the second half played well, but Prestonwood would ultimately pull away with the final score being 67-40. The Mustang’s leading scorer was eighth grader Gabe Castillo.
