On Monday, April 13, the McKinney Christian Middle School baseball team defeated Prince of Peace 5-0. Eighth grader, Jack Thompson, pitched a no-hitter for the Mustangs. Eighth graders, Cort Walsh and Greyson Remy, scored runs. Remy and sixth grader, Caleb Rabb, had a double play. This play sealed the win for the Mustangs. Seventh grader, Levi Crow, said, “It was a hard-fought win for us, and we’re gonna go win that district championship because we own every team in our district.” Walsh said, “We dominated them, and played our best.” Coach McGinnis said this to the players, “It was a great last home game for our 8th graders.” The Mustangs play next on Thursday, April 16th, vs Legacy Christian.

Evan Woodard has been at MCA for 3 years and is currently a junior. This is his first year taking newspaper, and he is excited to write about all of the interesting and different things that MCA has to offer. Evan plays basketball. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family. His favorite memory is making the state final four tournament in basketball as a sophomore.
