From Sunday, March 22, to Sunday, March 28, the FES students from Stuttgart, Germany, came to MCA. They were welcomed on Sunday evening at MCA for dinner from the Mexican Bar Company. On Monday, the students attended different classes, including Mr. Castillo’s Health Class, Mrs. Wong’s Trigonometry Class, and Mrs. Tucker’s Theater Class. They visited second-grade classrooms, and in the evening, they visited Downtown Dallas. Tuesday, they went to lower school classrooms and served at the Samaritan Inn McKinney. On Wednesday, they packed hygiene packs and visited Downtown McKinney. For Thursday, the students did a SMU campus tour and then went to Allen Outlets. They concluded the day with a Texan dinner at Huttchins BBQ. For the last excursion day on Friday, they visited the Fort Worth stockyards. A farewell brunch was hosted at HV Hub in Downtown McKinney. Senior, Aubrey Heji, shares her thoughts on the visit, saying, ” It was so nice to reconnect with the people. Seeing God’s providence work through them was life-changing. I am so stoked to go visit them in Germany.”
